Broken windows, red lacquer spray, and an empty house. Memories of the precious place are fading through these things. The place is reborn as new perfect space. I can no longer find my favorite things, the people that I loved, or the place that I used to love hanging around. Throughout the year, I make art works about redevelopment areas. I pay attention to the vanishing traces of these redevelopment areas. My primary question is “How can we respond to spaces that no longer have meaningful existence, because of today’s microscopic vision and devastating development?”
